TexasVolleyball Rankings

Texas Volleyball Insiders is pleased to present its State and Player rankings. We are excited to provide not only State rankings but will soon be presenting player rankings in all corners of the state.  Just to touch on the how, who and why teams will be ranked.  We, unlike other publications take many factors into account in our rankings.  We have “ambassadors” across the state who collectively have several hundred years of experience in high school and club volleyball.  These ambassadors along with input from coaches closely connected in the game take several factors into consideration.  Strength of schedule, wins against high-ranking teams and losses against unranked opponents all play a part of where TVI ranks teams.  Player’s rankings are also gathered from some of the top recruiting coordinators across the state and input from High school coaches from all corners of Texas come into play with our rankings.  Player rankings and team rankings are not member-driven, meaning being a member of TVI has zero bearing whatsoever on where teams and players are placed.  Texas Volleyball Insiders takes great pride in these rankings and like any ranking the potential for argument or questioning of placement exists.  Should you as a player, coach or fan of volleyball in Texas have thoughts or insider information that you feel might play a part feel free to email us at: info@texasvbi.com.
